Fritz Sargent's chocolate Fudge
This is her own creation, and it's very good.

3 cups granulated sugar
9 tbl cocoa
3 tbl oil or 3sq (blocks) bitter choc
3/4 cup milk
bring to boil.......until soft ball stage [240 degrees]
add: 1 tbl butter
set in cold water to cool
Add: 1 tsp vanilla & nuts
Beat until thick, then pour into a buttered dish
************************************* Aunt Fritz was married to my Uncle Ray. As a young girl I thought she was the most beautiful lady I had ever seen.
My sister Judy and I spent a lot of time at their home, and we loved it.
Especially at dinner time, when Uncle Ray would make faces and talk silly to us, we would laugh till our sides hurt.
They both have a special spot in my memories as a child.
To this day when I think of her, I hear her beautiful voice.
